No Comments OK, what exactly is happening here?
Let me get all the details out of the way. I’m a very very fat guy in his mid 30’s. 433 lbs on a 6′ frame to be exact. Down from about 455. I’ve been a big, fat, sloppy, unhealthy sack of sadness for a long time now. I was also a smoker for close to 18 years. I stopped 26 days ago. My plan is to buy a mountain bike in the next few days and begin the long journey of getting my life back. So, what does SuperPachyderm have to do with any of this? During my research into mountain biking, I found a charming term for bigger bikers. They were called Clydesdales, a rider who was over 6′ and/or 200 lbs. I then saw there was a category of SuperClydesdales who were guys over 220 lbs or so. I just couldn’t call myself a Clydesdale in good conscience, I was too big, I needed another term. I saw a site mention that the really big riders were Pachyderms, but I still doubt they were talking about guys that were approaching a quarter ton. So, I have dubbed myself a SuperPachyderm. And here we are.
